The Craneway Crafts Fair features live broadcasts and music both days from 9am until 5pm.
There will be plenty of room there to sit, relax, and enjoy the music.

Saturday, December 17th
 9:00am: KPFA Live Broadcast HOST: David Gans
David Gans is the Host of the Dead To The World on KPFA, Wednesdays from 8 - 10pm.

KPFA Radio broadcasts live from the Craneway, featuring artist interviews, musical selections, and topical discussions with non-profit activists, fair traders, musicians, and KPFA luminaries. KPFA 94.1 FM is the nation’s original listener-sponsored, noncommercial, public radio station founded in 1949. KPFA’s mission is to encourage cultural diversity and pluralistic community expression; to contribute to a lasting understanding between individuals of all nations, creeds and colors; to promote freedom of the press and to serve as a forum for various points of view, while maintaining an independent funding base. KPFA broadcasts on 94.1 FM and KPFB 89.3 FM, Berkeley, and KFCF 88.1 FM, Fresno, on 97.5 FM in Santa Cruz and on the web worldwide at www.kpfa.org.

 Noon: Sebastian Saint James
Sebastian is an award-winning American Rock-Folk/Blues influenced singer-songwriter, guitarist and producer from Northern California. While co-creating and fronting two award-winning bands, Hillside Fire and Highway Poets, Sebastian has written and released three DIY albums. Been voted People's Choice Best Performer in Sonoma County, has received three North Bay Music Awards and an award from the West Coast Songwriters Association. He's currently in studio working on his debut solo record "Before Colors Had Names" and The Highway Poets sophomore release "The Upside to Coming Down".
 1:30pm: Laura Inserra
Laura is a composer, multi-instrumentalist, teacher, and artistic director. She is a classically trained musician with a strong improvisational background. She plays contemporary and world music in different projects as a percussionist, multi-instrumentalist and composer. She authors and performs music for theater, dance performances, exhibitions, and soundtracks for movies with internationally acclaimed musicians.

Kevin Cartwright, Sometime Public Affairs Programmer on KPFA, and Vera Tykulsker, Neophyte Programmer. They will be channeling Johnny Otis!

 10:00am: The World Harmony Chorus
The World Harmony Chorus is a community chorus that welcomes participants of all ages and ability levels. There are no auditions or entrance requirements. Daniel Steinberg & Betsy Blakeslee work with vocalists of all levels of ability and experience to develop a wide variety of ethnic sources and folk traditions including urban jazz/gospel, hymns from Madagascar and Zimbabwe, Appalachian shape-note singing, Eastern European kolos and Venezuelan choral works. The result is an ongoing chorus for participants of all ages.
